20th Century Fox has released a first look trailer at the upcoming film The Revenant, and if you can get past the two-and-a-half minutes of heavy breathing you'll actually see what looks like a decent film.
Inspired by true events, The Revenant is about a man's survival in the wilderness and his quest for revenge on the colleague who betrays him. In the film, Leonardo DiCaprio plays Hugh Glass, a fur trapper brutally injured in a clash with a bear. When he's robbed and left for dead by his colleague John Fitzgerald, played by Tom Hardy, Glass must conjure up the willpower to navigate a hostile environment, brutal winter, and warring tribes to exact exact vengeance.
The Revenant is directed and co-written by Academy Award winner Alejandro G. Iñárritu (Birdman), and is due for release on December 25, 2015.
