Markus "Notch" Persson joined Forber's Billionaire List earlier this month. Since then we have heard plenty of rehashing over his $70 million cash purchase of a mansion and whatever other way he has been spending his money. Notch certainly isn't the only person in the video game industry who has seen tons of profit; just think of the guys behind blockbuster mobile games, or people that own large shares of Valve — they're making a killing too.
It's not a surprise that the people with the most money in gaming come predominantly from mobile and/or Facebook games, but there are only two video game moguls that made it onto the billionaire list thanks to your money (and one that really didn't take your money at all, unless you put money into their Oculus Rift Kickstarter campaign).
