The second half of The Walking Dead Season 3 seems to lack zombies, judging from new trailers

AMC has released two new videos promoting the second half of The Walking Dead Season 3. AMC's hit show centers around a group of survivors in a world overrun by zombies, which is why I'm somewhat concerned by the lack of undead in the latest series of trailers.

The first video is more of a preview, giving us a quick glimpse at the many intense moments will see in the second half of Season 3. Most of it seems centered around Rick and the group's ongoing feud with the Governor. The second clip, meanwhile, seems to take place directly after the cliffhanger with Daryl and Merle Dixon forced to fight to the death.

I have no doubt that the second half of Season 3 will be filled with memorable, intense moments, but the lack of zombies is somewhat concerning, especially with how much zombie slaying was in the first half. Of course, the writer's decision to move away from zombies and into more of a human vs human element could provide a nice change of pace to the series plot. We've seen Rick and his group deal with zombies for three seasons now. Maybe this change will keep the series fresh.

I'm sure we'll still get a few nice zombie beheading moments, but for the most part, it looks to be human on human violence in the second half. Check out the clips below and let us know what you think. Are you disappointed with what appears to be a lack of zombies in The Walking Dead Season 3.5?
