The Sims 3 Showtime new screenshots

Have you ever dreamed of becoming a superstar or are in the process of becoming a superstar?  Would controlling AI avatars in s simulation suffice?  If so, Sims 3 Showtime is for you!  Add a rising star to your Sims community, watch him or her rise is popularity, and help your community in the process.

The careers offered are acrobat, magician, and singer.  While I could easily name 5 famous singers, 5 magicians would be a stretch, and I could name maybe 1 famous acrobat.  Don’t get me wrong, I like the variety and options.  Maybe there was a period when young Andrew wanted to be an acrobat.

Anyways… as a magician your Sim can perform small social tricks for entertainment and move up in the magic world.  Apparently you can kill Sims with the Box of Danger, one wrong sword placement and well – there comes the Death Sim.

Singers start accepting small gigs and even work as singing telegrams (ouch).  If a Sim loses his or her job, cheer them up with a song!  If there is a birthday, sing Happy Birthday to them!  The world is your oyster AND stage!

All careers come with costumes you unlock throughout your career.  Find your look, nail your costume, and get ready for SimFest – a giant competition for all acrobats, magicians, and singers.  New duel mechanics allows those Sims who enjoy competitions to shine.
