The Sims 4 Create a Sim Demo is now available for all

EA has gone ahead and made The Sims 4 Create a Sim Demo free for download on Origin, just hours ahead of what I assume will be a more official announcement during the company's 2014 gamescom conference.

Fans eager to test out the new Sim creator can now do so by downloading the demo. It can be found in the Origin store under the "Demos and Betas" portion of the Free Games section.

Though we've had access to the demo for quite a while now, invitations were on a limited basis. This now marks the first time anyone can download the demo. It should be noted that not all of the creative options are enabled for the demo, but there's enough tools available to create some pretty interesting characters.

In my first go-around with the demo I created myself from my wedding day, and it actually turned out to be a pretty close representation. We then attempted to create LeBron James. That one, not so accurate. Still it was a lot of fun and I'm sure someone with more patience and creative talent than me can probably muster up some pretty interesting Sims.
