The Sims 4 is getting pools this month

If EA stays true to their word, then The Sims 4 players will get to go for a dip in the pool sometime this month.

About a month ago, EA announced plans for three major updates for The Sims 4. The first came in October, celebrating Halloween with the addition of Ghosts and a new Star Wars Costume Set, among other things. Now, in November, we are set to receive pools.

It's an odd time to release an update focused on swimming given the time of year we are in, but maybe it'll give fans who are snowed-in something to dream of. If anything, it gives them something they've been clamoring for since before the launch of the game. Other than the November release window, we don't have a specific date for when pools will arrive this month.

Looking even further ahead, a December update will introduce new Career paths and rewards.

Each of the two remaining updates will be completely free to players, perhaps as EA's way of making it up to fans for shafting them with no pools at launch. Sadly, none of the updates include the addition of toddlers, another "feature" that unfortunately was not included with the game at launch.
