The Microsoft Store revealed that The Sims 4 would finally be making its way to consoles on November 17th, but made no mention of a PlayStation 4 version. At the time, only the Xbox One was noted as a new platform for the three-year-old game. Today, The Sims 4 has officially been announced for the PS4 and will be sharing the November 17th release date with the Xbox One.
The console port of the game will release on November 17th if you purchase that standard version of the game. Pre-ordering the standard version will get you some extra items, like the 'The Sims 4 Perfect Patio Stuff Pack', which brings hot tubs, more fashion, and more.
However, if you want to jump into the game early, there's an option for that too. To get early access to The Sims 4 on console, you have to pre-order The Sims 4 Deluxe Party Edition. This version of the game will give you up to three days of early access.
The Sims 4 Deluxe Party Edition includes the following content (in addition to the base game):
-
Life of the Party:
- Flaming Tiki Bar and sleek, stylized outfits for your Sims.
-
Up All Night:
- Laser Light Show, fun decorations, and outrageous party costumes.
-
Awesome Animal Hats:
- A collection of fun animal hats for your Sims to wear and show off.
