The supercute Monsters Ate My Birthday Cake fulfills its funding goal

The adorable dungeon-style environmental puzzle game Monsters Ate My Birthday Cake has met its funding goal on Kickstarter, raising about $26,000 when it only needed $15,000.

The extra money means that SleepNinja Games can bring the game to Android, besides already confirmed releases for iOS and PC/Mac. The campaign ended just shy of its $30,000 stretch goal, which would have enabled a lot more polish to be added.

Ouya and GameStick support is a possibility, but the team says on its Kickstarter page, "It's something we are looking closely at; however we are not committing to anything at the moment."

Monsters Ate My Birthday Cake is planned for an August launch, according to the most recent update.
