The Surge has officially gone gold

Publisher Focus Home Interactive and Developer Deck13 have announced that their upcoming hardcore Action-RPG, The Surge has officially gone gold on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game will get both a physical and digital release that will come out next month on May 16th, 2017 and is already available for pre-order.

Focus Home Interactive also announced more details about the game's PS4 Pro support, with the first update being ready at launch. The support is very Nioh-like in the sense that it will give players the option to play the game at Dynamic 4K at 30fps or in 1080p at 60fps. There will be another update coming later that will add HDR Support.

The Surge's release is just over a month away, but if you want to go ahead and take the plunge, you can do so by heading over here.
