The Technomancer will be 1080P on Xbox One and PS4

Looks like the SDK upgrades are working

The recent trend as of late has been many games hitting the 1080P graphics threshold on PS4 with the Xbox One only reaching 900P. In a recent interview with Gamingbolt, the developers over at Spider Studios indicated that both consoles will indeed utilize both 1080P graphics while maintaining a steady framerate of 30 FPS. Now, again, anyone who knows anything about games understands framerate is much more important than graphics, but it's still good to see the Xbox One catching up to the PS4 in that department.

Jehanne Rousseau, CEO of Spider Studios, spoke to the outlet and stated that "For a RPG like The Technomancer we preferred to achieve the best graphic quality, so we decided to stick to 1080p and 30 fps on PS4 and Xbox One. The 60 fps is a very interesting technical challenge, but concentrate our efforts on it would not be reasonable for us, and there would have been too many sacrifices to do on the game.”

Phil Spencer spoke a while back that the new SDK improvements and the addition of Direct X12 will allow the Xbox One to maintain 1080P on more games. The Technomancer is a new RPG by Spider Studios and is set in a Cyberpunk universe set on Mars where you are on the run from the Secret Police and confronted by the harsh realities of the Red Planet, you must undertake a quest that takes you through tribal communities, cities lost under the ice, and dystopian shanties sprawled across Mars' dusty embrace. Currently the game has a 2016 release
