The Theatrhythm franchise expands to Dragon Quest in 2015

As a huge music game fan, as well as easily one of Nobuo Uematsu's biggest fans, there's no surprise that Theatrhythm was one of my all time favorite rhythm games in the recent years. With a much needed follow-up that added some new gameplay elements, as well as over 200 songs, Curtain Call one upped one of the best rhythm games out there. So I'm not surprised that the next logical entry for Theatrhythm would be Enix's Dragon Quest.

Gematsu noticed the official site that went up detailing the game, though it is in Japanese. The game is actually scheduled to come out March 26, 2015, which is really soon, considering we're just learning about it.

At this point there is no word on whether the game will be making a debut overseas, especially since Dragon Quest might not be as popular here as it is in Japan. I'm still waiting on Dragon Quest X to make its way over here, but I think that might be a stretch.

The first debut for the trailer will be making its first public showing at Jump Festa next weekend, where it will also be playable for the first time.
