The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series is a critically acclaimed series from Telltale set in the world created by Robert Kirkman is finally seeing a season three.
The first season of The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series light a fire under the point-and-click adventure genre and can probably be thanked for the resurgence of these types of games, and can definitely be attributed to Telltale's recent success. The third season, named A New Frontier, launches today for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Later this week, it will be available for iOS and Android as well.
For those who have played the first two seasons, the story picks up where it left off. Clementine left off with virtually no one. However, the story begins from someone else's perspective: A young man named Javier, determined to protect his family. Today, Telltale actually released two episodes, as opposed to their normal one at a time, and we're given the chapters 'Ties That Bind' Part I & II that explore how this man met Clementine and what has happened between when we last saw her, as well as Javier's reason for being here.
Being available on so many platforms, Telltale has created an easy way to transfer saves for those who played the first two seasons on older platforms. For those who haven't, Season three comes with a story generator, useful for those who lost their saves or want to jump into The Walking Dead – A New Frontier without having to start from the beginning.
This season is available on various platforms and are accessible here.
