With Season Two of Telltale Games' The Walking Dead presumably well on its way, the developer/publisher is giving those who may not have jumped on the bandwagon a chance to do so — for free.
Telltale announced today that Episode 1: A New Day, the first chapter of Lee and Clementine's story, is now free on Xbox Live (worldwide) and PlayStation Network (North America). Furthermore the Season Pass, which will grant you access to all five episodes on Season One at a discount, has been dropped to just $14.99 on PSN. So if you enjoy episode one, you'll be able to purchase the rest of the addicting season for even cheaper.
And from there you have the 400 Days DLC, add-on content that bridges the gap between Season One and the upcoming Season Two of The Walking Dead game. Speaking of Season Two, Telltale said "breaking news" regarding Season Two — including its release date — will be announced in the "days and weeks ahead." Make of that what you will.
If you haven't yet played Season One, I highly suggest you do so. If the awards it received weren't testament enough, check out our review of Episode One here. You can find the review for each episode here.
