The Walking Dead first episode, A New Day, now available on iOS

If you've been holding out on purchasing the Walking Dead, in hopes it would one day make its way to your iPad, today is the day!

For $4.99, you can purchase the first episode, A New Day, on your iOS device, and enjoy intriguing storyline featuring Lee Everett, a man convicted of murder who then uses his newfound freedom at a chance at redemption, no matter where you are.

'Episode 1: A New Day’ is available now on the App Store for $4.99; Episodes 2-5 will be released periodically and available via in-app purchase. Pre-order the remaining episodes in The Walking Dead game series by purchasing the Multi-Pack [Episode 2-5 Bundle] for $14.99 via in-app purchase and save 25%!

TellTale games is quite masterful at taking hit TV or movie licenses and making them into intriguing, episodic games. While Jurassic Park might not have worked out as fans would have hoped, their past endeavours, especially Back to the Future, were absolutely phenomenal.

If you're still not sure whether the Walking Dead games are for you, make sure to head on over to our review, which stated that: For five bucks, you get a great two-hour precursor for bigger chapters to come, and one you can replay just to see who stays on your side and who doesn’t.  It’s just as good as the show, and fans know that’s really saying something.
