The Walking Dead gets October release on Xbox One and PS4

Telltale Games has officially confirmed The Walking Dead's next-gen release.

Though we don't have a specific day, the developer announced that both The Walking Dead Season One and Season Two will be coming to PS4 and Xbox One in October. Additionally, both seasons will also be getting a physical retail release on PS3, Xbox 360, and PlayStation Vita next month.

Again, no specific day was announced, but it's worth pointing out that various retailers have listed the games for release on October 14. With the arrival of the Xbox One and PS4 versions, it now means that The Walking Dead series is available on just about every major platform.

The fifth and final episode of Season Two was released back in August. You can check out our review here, but if you plan on buying any of these versions in October then I suggest waiting as there might be a few spoilers.
