The Walking Dead releases its official Season 7 trailer

It's that time again. With school back in full swing, that means the return of Fall TV, and with it AMC's flagship series, The Walking Dead. The show is already in its seventh season (holy crap, where does the time go), and as we await to see who Negan kills, AMC has released a small trailer for the new season (seen above).

This trailer doesn't focus on any of the Negan storyline, but rather the introduction of King Ezekiel, a prominent character from the comics, and likely the solution to Rick and the gang's Negan problem. Ezekiel is considered a friend of the Hilltop community and an enemy of Negan and the Saviors. He also happens to have a pet tiger known as Shiva.

With that in mind, you can see where the story is likely going to go from here. We figure out who Negan kills; the group is forced to do his bidding for some time, reeling from the loss of said character, until they encounter Ezekiel, then mount a counter attack, etc.

The Walking Dead returns on Sunday, October 23 at 9/8c on AMC.
