After all of the rumors, Telltale Games has finally confirmed that The Walking Dead: Season One, The Walking Dead: Season Two, and The Wolf Among Us are all heading to Xbox One and PS4 "later this year." Additionally, The Walking Dead: Season Two and The Wolf Among Us will also be released as retail discs for Xbox 360 and PS3.
Telltale doesn't yet have confirmed release dates for these, but you can already pre-order the disc versions from retailers. As we mentioned yesterday, GameStop and Best Buy both have Xbox One and PS4 listings of the games. It looks like each season will retail for $29.99.
The Xbox One and PS4 versions now mean that The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us are available on just about every major platform. It's unclear if the games will support save transfers from one generation to the next. What's more, this move could also indicate that Telltale's two other series, Tales from the Borderlands and Game of Thrones, are also coming to Xbox One and PS4.
