As expected the Warcraft film will bring tie-in items for World of Warcraft, both Alliance and Horde will be getting some items from the movie.
The people over at Wowhead keep records on new items that are added to World of Warcraft and with an update for the Legion alpha client, the launch client for their next expansion, Legion, they found out that some new items from the Warcraft movie has made their way into the game.
A total of four new items have been added to the game, two for Alliance and two for Horde.They come in form of two achievements that unlock when playing for either faction within two months after launch. When logging in within the two month period a Strongbox will be in the player's mail box containing the new items, the 'Replica Lion's Fang' and 'Replica Lion's Heart' for Alliance, and 'Replica Blood Guard's Cleaver' and 'Replica Staff of Gul'dan' for the Horde.
These items' stats are nothing to write home about, but they are transmog items which is a fancy way of saying that they are can be used as weapon skins for the player's current weapon, making some sweet legendary loot look like the Lion's Fang or the Blood Guard's Cleaver.
Blizzard has yet to officially reveal these tie-in items, but they can be found in the Legion alpha launcher. Check out the new items in the video above and take a look at the new items.
The Warcraft movie is set for release on June 10 while the full World of Warcraft Legion expansion come out August 30
