The Witcher 3 DLC Blood and Wine got some new screenshots released today showing off the game's new area Toussaint and the castle located within it, Beauclair.
The DLC will feature a whopping 20 hours of gameplay, which is twice the length of Hearts of Stone expansion that was previously released. The new area of Toussaint is a beautiful, landscaped country side that has yet to be ravaged by war. Of course, in true Witcher fashion, there's a secret hidden within its history that Geralt will be left to uncover and defeat.
The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine will be available as part of the $20 Season Pass or alone for $15.99. Developer CDPR just took home three separate awards at The Game Awards last week for GOTY, Developer of the Year as well as Best RPG as well. This brand new area of the game should have plenty of surprises left in store for us and, of course, only Geralt can find them. The Blood and Wine DLC will be the end of The Witcher 3 main story and also mark the end of Geralt's timeline in the Witcher as well.
There is no release date yet for Blood and Wine, but it has a release window of early 2016 on both Xbox One and PS4.
