This may sound like it goes without saying, but CD Projekt Red loves their franchise The Witcher. Not only is there a six-part documentary miniseries on the creation of The Witcher trilogy in the works, but we're also getting a PS4 Pro upgrade for the latest title, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt today.
Roughly a month ago, we learned that CD Projekt Red was working on PS4 Pro and Xbox One X versions of their beloved title. Today, the PS4 Pro version dropped and is available now for all users with a copy of The Witcher 3.
Obviously, a PlayStation 4 Pro is needed to take advantage of this upgrade, but beyond that, it's free. The upgrade applies to the base game and its expansions. Not only does it support 4K resolution, but CD Projekt Red also states that there's a performance boost as well.
So, don't be shy. Show of hands. Who's going to replay the "Geralt in the bath" scene? I hear the soap is extra sudsy this time.
