The Witcher 3: Where to find the ‘Ballad Heroes’ Gwent cards and ‘Fool’s Gold’ quest

Available this week (and already out on PC), The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's 7th and 8th free content drops bring a new quest and a neutral Gwent card set.

As is the case with most of the game's free DLC, downloading it is the easy part. Finding it in-game is a little more tricky.

This week, the Fool's Gold can be started by talking to NPCs who invite Geralt for food in the Lurtch village in No Man's Land. According to the description, "Geralt and a village idiot team up to learn the secret of an abandoned village inhabited entirely by pigs."

This week's other piece of free DLC adds to Wild Hunt's popular card game, Gwent. A new set of neutral cards called "Ballad Heroes"  will appear when you start a new game. According to the description, "The "Ballad Heroes" neutral Gwent card set will provide alternative cards capturing characters from Dandelion's ballads in all their glory." With the release of the new quest and Gwent card set, we are now halfway through CD Projekt RED's 16 planned free DLC packs for The Witcher 3. Last week's bundle came in the form of Nilfgaardian Armor Set and an Elite Crossbow set. You can still download previously released content, which includes a new quest (Contract: Missing Miners), a cosmetic option for Yennefer, the Temerian Armor Set, and a set of new beards and hairstyles for Geralt. The reamining DLC packs will be released on a weekly basis throughout June and July.
