CD Projekt RED has announced plans to unveil the opening cinematic from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the eagerly anticipated open-world fantasy RPG, will debut next Friday, October 24.
The opening cinematic, titled The Trail, will make its premiere at 15:45 BST (7:45am PDT, if we've done our math correctly) during the Golden Joystick Awards Ceremony. After the world premiere, the opening cinematic will also be made available over on The Witcher website.
Though not much has been spoiled about the cinematic, CD Projekt RED did say that The Trail opening cinematic is "an epic intro foreshadowing the main storyline of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt," which basically sees you play as Geralt of Rivia who embarks on "an epic journey in a war-ravaged world to confront a foe darker than anything humanity has faced so far." If that doesn't sell you on tuning in for the premiere of the cinematic, then might I direct you to the Cyberpunk 2077 trailer?
