Last year, it was Jonathan Blow's The Witness that was kicking off 2016's Game release calendar and it had a considerable amount of excitement behind it. Jonathan Blow is well known for his previous game, Braid, which is one of the first indie games to launch non-AAA game development to the heights it has reached today. The Witness was a solid offering, and while it won't be remembered in quite the same way that Braid was, being able to nab it for $12 on top of a slew of other games is nothing short of a steal.
Humble Monthly is a subscription service where users pay $12 a month for a mystery smorgasbord of games, with at least one big name game headlining it. This past month it was Total War: Warhammer that led the charge with the rest of its bundle being revealed today.
Here's a list of that bundle:
Past headliners include XCOM 2, Mad Max, Rocket League, SOMA, Alien Isolation, and ARK: Survival Evolved. For more on The Witness, check out the official GameZone Review.
