Jonathan Blow's 3D puzzler The Witness is nearly complete. According to the an update by designer Orsi Spaynol, the team is in "finish-the-game mode," which he explained is why there have been fewer updates lately.
"Just wanted to do a quick post saying that we are all working hard on the game, figuring out some of the last unknowns and polishing things up," Spaynol said, including a teaser photo of the world's hub area.
In an update back in May, Blow explained the team was working to make the game run as smoothly as possible, working towards rendering The Witness on PS4 at 1080p and 60 frames per second.
The Witness is a timed exclusive on the PS4, and will release on iOS and PC shortly after debuting on Sony's console. We still don't have a release date, but it looks like Blow and his team will meet the initial 2014 release date.
