The Wolf Among Us launch trailer shows the dark side of fairy tales

Telltale Games has released a launch trailer for The Wolf Among Us ahead of this Friday's release of Episode One, Faith. The trailer briefly sets up the upcoming season of The Wolf Among Us, a new series from Telltale that's based on Bill Willingham's award-winning comic book series Fables.

The game takes place prior to the events seen in the first issue of Fables, and puts players in the role of Bigby Wolf. Once known as The Big Bad Wolf, Bigby is now sheriff of a hidden community in New York City and is tasked by the bureaucrat Snow White with keeping order within the society of mythical creatures and characters. As you will see in the trailer, that's easier said than done.

As previously announced, Episode One will arrive for download worldwide on Xbox Games Store for $4.99. A Season Pass can be purchased for an additional $14.99 and will grant access to the remaining four episodes once they release. Alternatively, you can opt for the PC version which also launches this Friday. It is available for pre-order from Steam where you can also purchase the Season Pass for $22.49, %10 off its normal $24.99 price tag.
