The Wonder Woman solo movie has officially finished filming

The Wonder Woman solo film, due to hit theaters on June 2nd, 2017 has officially finished filming, according to a tweet sent out by Wonder Woman herself, Gal Gadot. The film is set to be the first of several solo movies in the DC movieverse to come, which will be followed by the first Justice League movie in late 2017. Here's the tweet.

Gadot made her DC debut in the much maligned Batman v Superman, but was widely considered one of the best aspects of the movie. There have been a couple of inside looks at the film over the last month or so, one planned, one not so much.

Wonder Woman is set to also feature Star Trek Beyond's Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, The Office's Lucy Davis as Etta Candy, and Gladiator's Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta.
