So I woke up from a nap late last night and scoured the Twitter-verse to see what my favorite professional wrestlers and indie developers were doing. It turns out, my favorite wrestlers weren’t sleeping, and my favorite indie devs were making big announcements. Edmund McMillen finally revealed the official launch date for The Binding of Isaac, and it makes me happy to know that the wait won’t be long.
According to McMillen’s blog, gamers can expect The Binding of Isaac to land on September 28. That’s a mere 11 days away. As previously mentioned, the game will cost $5, which is all kinds of cheap.
I’ve been covering news on The Binding of Isaac for the past several weeks, and I’m really excited about the game. I’m a big fan of McMillen’s work, and I simply cannot wait to play his upcoming title. If you enjoy intriguing indie games and want to check out something a little different, be sure to mark September 28 on your calendar.
The Binding of Isaac will be a tough roguelike with shooter gameplay and dungeons inspired by The Legend of Zelda on the NES. If that’s not enough to make you want to get this downloadable game on day one, I don’t know what is. Be sure to pick up the game on Steam in less than two weeks! Or else!
