For those who picked up Square's magnificent rhythm game which celebrated 25 years of amazing music, can now add eight more songs to their library.
Although we reported that the first batch of DLC was available at Theatrhythm's launch, it actually didn't go into effect until today, which makes sense since Nintendo updates their online services with new products on Thursdays.
To refresh your memory, here are the eight songs you'll be able to add to your library:
Here are the 10 new tracks available today for just $0.99 each:
- “Battle Theme 1” (FINAL FANTASY II)
- “The Final Battle” (FINAL FANTASY IV)
- “Fighters of the Crystal” (FINAL FANTASY XI)
- “Fighting Fate” (FINAL FANTASY XIII)
- “In Search of Light” (FINAL FANTASY V)
- “Cosmo Canyon” (FINAL FANTASY VII)
- “Ride On” (FINAL FANTASY VIII)
- “A Fleeting Dream” (FINAL FANTASY X)
The worst part of this however is that there is absolutely no way to preview any of the songs. Of course, Final Fantasy purists will scoff at this and just say "If you're a real fan, you shouldn't need a reminder." I say wrong, if I haven't heard Cosmo Canyon in over 10 years, I should be able to refresh my memory by at least getting a small preview, without needing to consult YouTube!
In any case, if you feel like expanding your Theatrhythm library, you can finally do so today!
