Avalanche Studios, best known for action-packed games like Just Cause 3 and Mad Max also occasionally dips their feet in a calm serene title like theHunter: Call of the Wild, an open-world hunting game. Until recently, the game was a PC exclusive. Today, Avalanche has announced that it's coming to Xbox One in 2017.
So what's so calming about hunting? It's not all chasing and shooting. theHunter is a virtual hunting trip, complete with nature watching and picture taking. According to Avalanche, some players don't even shoot at all and just take in the scenery, as the game is very pretty.
For those who actually hunt, their real-life skills can be put to use, as tracking, wind direction, and other tricks are employed in-game. Sometimes we want to take a trip out to the wild and just do what our heart desires. But sometimes, we can't take the trip out to the wild. That's where theHunter comes in, and Xbox One players will soon get to experience this.
