Surely, with over 100 games headed to the Vita in 2013, one of them has to be amazing. In all likelihood, more than one will probably earn that reputation, but Shahid Kamal Ahmad of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has taken it upon himself to tease one "amazing big title coming to Vita." Well, it's about time; the Vita could use some love.
"I can't tell you anything about it, except that you are gonna be hooked for hours," the senior business development manager left off. And that's about all we know, other than it supposedly won't be an indie title.
My guess is Gran Turismo 6 on the PlayStation Vita. Boom! Earlier this week, SCEE sent out invites for an event to celebrate the driving simulator's 15th anniversary. At this event, Sony will be teasing "exciting announcements" about the future of the Gran Turismo franchise. Obviously, everyone is betting on Gran Turismo 6 for the PS3, and possibly PS4. But Gran Turismo 6 would be huge for the Vita, as well.
It only makes sense. Just days after SCEE announces the event, this guy comes out and teases an amazing game? Come on Sony, we're better than that. I even photoshopped a picture of the big reveal, so it has to be true. Gaming journalism: 1, Sony:0!
