There’s an ‘unlimited amount of things’ to make Star Wars games out of, says EA

Over the past few years, EA has helped bring us a number of Star Wars games. Most recently we have seen the publisher/developer release the first-person shooter Star Wars Battlefront and the mobile game Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes.

It's no secret that EA is planning on continuing on developing within the Star Wars universe, in fact, they have already revealed plans to continue the Battlefront series with sequels.

During the Media and Telecom Conference in San Francisco, EA's CFO Blake Jorgensen called the currently released games a "great start"  to future Star Wars games.

"We see it as a great start–building a strong base of people that want to play in the Star Wars universe," said Jorgensen, as noted by GameSpot. "And then leveraging it over time with action-oriented games, future Battlefront first-person shooter style games, new mobile games.

"As everyone knows, with Star Wars, there is an unlimited amount of things you can do with the content. And as Disney starts to add more and more new content, that gives fuel to our ability to add more games around it."

Basically, EA won't be giving up the Star Wars license any time soon.
