Last month, the 2015 Oscar nominations for the 87th Academy Awards were revealed. While The Lego Movie getting hosed was a big surprise, the nominees for Best Motion Picture of the Year were not surprising.
There were eight movies nominated for Best Picture, and they are: American Sniper; Birdman; Boyhood; The Grand Budapest Hotel; The Imitation Game; Selma; The Theory of Everything; and Whiplash.
