The Scribblenauts series has made its way from the Nintendo DS to the iPhone, and now, 5th Cell is getting ready to launch the franchise on the home console front. Set to land on the Wii U, Scribblenauts Unlimited takes the formula gamers have come to adore and puts it on the big screen. Of course, thanks to the Wii U Gamepad, there's still a second screen to solve puzzles on.
5th Cell has released a bunch of new screenshots for Scribblenauts Unlimited, and they show off some of the cool new features of the upcoming game. For starters, objects and creatures can now be summoned and modified to your heart's content. Just check out what happens to the dragon in the gallery posted here.
Additionally, there seems to be a fast travel map, which really makes you wonder how big the world in Scribblenauts Unlimited will be. Consdering the game is on an HD console, I'm really hoping for the biggest collection of levels and puzzles yet. Hey, if anyone can cram a bunch of awesome content into its games, it's developer 5th Cell.
Oh, and I couldn't post a batch of screenshots without mentioning Lily. Maxwell's female companion is adorable, and she'll be an integral part of the brand new co-op mode in Scribblenauts Unlimited. I'm most enticed by the prospect of playing this game with someone else, and I look forward to digging into the game's co-op mode.
Expect a full preview of Scribblenauts Unlimited from E3 soon, written by yours truly.
