Third North American Splatfest announced for next week

The third North American Splatfest has been announced for 8/7 at 9PM PST and will continue for 24 hours, ending at 9PM PST on 8/8. This round's debate teams? What would you rather roast on a campfire, marshmallows or hotdogs?

As always, there's an easy choice here, though I won't spoil the answer for you now. While it's painfully obvious what the right answer is, nothing is a guarantee in Splatfest. if you've been following our ongoing Splatfest coverage, you'll see that the North American Splatfest has been a real trailblazer with its results.

When the Dogs cheated the Cats out of victory, it marked the first time Marie's team had won a Splatfest.  When the rickety Roller Coasters somehow snuck to victory against the vastly super Water Slides, it was the first time a Splatfest had been won by a less popular team. I'm not sure what firsts are left, but somehow I'm sure America can find a way.

Everyone will get some Super Sea Snails, but the winners get more of them, and the all important bragging rights. Circle 8/7 on your calender, get used to the new weapons, gear, and level cap, and remember to pick the right team.
