This is how much money you need to recreate Yugi’s Yu-Gi-Oh! deck

Yu-Gi-Oh! released hot on the heels of Pokemon, when trading card games and their associated anime began reaching their peak. Since then the hype around Yu-Gi-Oh! might have faded ever so slightly, but there's still a pretty strong following for the card-based show.

Someone has finally answered the question of fans around the world: How much would it cost to assemble Yugi's deck? Luckily, the official website lists Yugi's deck, which helped the Japanese website Anime Anima (via Rocket News) search for every single card and price out the cost of purchasing the individual cards in his deck.

It took three hours and a number of online card shops, but the deck was created – unfortunately, without the Graceful Charity card. Most cards averaged out to about $4.70 per, with a few outliers sitting at $20 (The Eye of Timaeus) and $17 (Eternal Soul). In total, taking the lazy route and purchasing each card seperately, instead of buying packs, will cost you $224.
