11 Bit Studio has released a new update for its war-survival game This War of Mine. Considered the biggest update to date, today's 1.3 update implements a number of new features, including a scenario editor, a character editor, two new locations, and two new music tracks.
The scenario editor lets you write your own stories of civilians of wars, allowing you to pick up members of the group, set the length of the conflict, weather conditions, and more. In the character editor you can shape civilians — their look, skills, and biographies — and then play with them in the game. The two new locations — Old Town and Looted Gas Stations — can be included in your scenario.
"In TWoM you are the narrator. These new tools largely expand your possibilities of telling stories in the game," 11 Bit said of the features contained in today's update.
