This week’s downloadable Nintendo poop 5/17/2012

We've got a handful of new downloadable Nintendo titles this week. Sadly, if you were hoping to get some new retro offerings on the Wii Virtual Console, that won't be the case today. There are also no new WiiWare games, which leads me to believe that people may be running out of ideas for bad digital games.

DSiWare, on the other hand, does have a new title. Chronicles of Vampires: The Awakening lands on the service for 500 DSi Points ($5 on the 3DS). It's a hidden object game with a vampire theme, so yeah, not sure if any of you are into that.

The 3DS eShop has two treats for you this week. The first is Kirby's Block Ball, which is yet another charming game featuring the always lovable Kirby. Because he really is always lovable … unless you hate joy. Anyway, this 3DS port of the Game Boy original is priced at $2.99. Go buy it.

Also on the eShop, as mentioned earlier by GameZone's resident disliker of Kirby and joy Matt Liebl, we've got a demo for Rayman Origins. Try out the limbless hero's adventure for $15. Just kidding! The demo's free!
