This week’s Xbox One Deals with Gold discounts Child of Light and LocoCycle

Two Xbox One games are discounted this week as a result of Microsoft's Deals with Gold. If you happen to be an Xbox LIVE Gold member — and who isn't these days — then you can save on Child of Light and LocoCycle for Xbox One.

From now through September 8,  you can save 33 percent on Ubisoft's Child of Light. Released back in April, Child of Light takes you on a whimsical adventure inspired by fairy tales. It's a coming-of-age journey for Aurora, the daughter of the duke, who is transported to the fantastic world of Lemuria where she must fight the dark creatures of the Queen of Night on her quest to save the sun, the moon, and the stars. I had the pleasure of reviewing the game when it first released; you can read my full review here.

Also discounted this week is Twisted Pixel's LocoCycle, the high-speed motorcycle racer in which the newly self-aware I.R.I.S. travels on a cross-continent escape to freedom. With the assassin motorcycle's only ally, her engineer Pablo, attached to the chassis by his pant leg, the two are hunted by the psychopathic motorcycle S.P.I.K.E. and a multinational weapons cartel. LocoCycle was a launch title for Xbox One; check out our review here.
