Say hello to the new dancing zombie. A few days ago, PopCap games removed a zombie that resembled Michael Jackson in his Thriller video. The zombie, named the “Dancing Zombie” had the look down pat, red jacket and all.
Turns out Michael Jackson’s estate didn’t take kindly to the parody. No reason was explained other than their lawyers contacted PopCap and asked for the character to be removed. PopCap, probably wanting to avoid legal fees, updated the game to include a brand-new, disco-themed zombie. Meet the new Dancing Zombie.
