Thomas Jane reminds us of the difference between justice and punishment with Punisher fan film

You know the difference between justice and punishment? Thomas Jane does. And he's showing everyone in a little fan film he made called #DIRTYLAUNDRY. You might remember Thomas Jane from his HBO show Hung where he was a school teacher that becomes a male prostitute because of hum… eh hem… endowment. Before that, though, he was Frank Castle in 2004's The Punisher. While critics didn't really care for it, a good amount of movie-goers did; and even if they didn't, it wasn't because of Thomas Jane. He was the perfect Punisher.

Then there was Punisher: War Zone, which was just awful. I would switch places with a blind person so I wouldn't have to see that movie again, but even then, I'd still be able to hear the bad acting. So the last time was saw Frank Miller, it was disappointing. Until now…

On the YouTube page, Thomas Jane wrote:

I wanted to make a fan film for a character I've always loved and believed in – a love letter to Frank Castle & his fans. It was an incredible experience with everyone on the project throwing in their time just for the fun of it. It's been a blast to be a part of from start to finish — we hope the friends of Frank enjoy watching it as much as we did making it.

Oh, and Ron Perlman is in this short film. And with that I give you… #DIRTYLAUNDRY
