Thomas Was Alone pushes past 700,000 copies in sales

Puzzle-platformer Thomas Was Alone has sold over 700,000 copies, according to indie creator Mark Bithell.

This figure includes the PC, Mac, Linux, PS3, and Vita versions but not free digital copies redeemed through PlayStation Plus, Bithell told Joystiq in a podcast.

Bithell recently announced his next title, a stealth game called Volume. It's not about killing but stealing and a clever use of sound, and players are free to remix existing levels or create their own content to share. It's due out in 2014.
