It's been a rumor for quite a while that Thor: Ragnarok, due out next year, would be a Planet Hulk storyline. Fans assumed Thor and Hulk would fight monsters together on the planet Sakaar and it turns out they were right.
The film will feature the Hulk as a gladiator on the planet Sakaar and will star Thor as he reunites with his old friend and ally. We even got a look at the new gladiatorial look for Hulk from a couple of tweets.

In an interview with Total Film, Waitiki spoke about Sakaar and how it "Was just an insane, far-off futuristic place which was the biggest shift for the film and these characters." Thor: Ragnarok will star Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk. Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston, will also make his return to the Marvel movies. He hasn't been featured in a Marvel film since 2013's Thor: Dark World despite being a fan favorite antagonist.
Thor: Ragnarok will be in theaters November 3, 2017.
