THQ extends Limited Edition Darksiders II benefits to Steam

THQ recently published details about the upcoming Collector's and Limited editions of Darksiders II, the sequel to Vigil Games' original title, currently available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and OnLive. The company announced that everyone who pre-ordered the new game for PS3, 360, or PC would receive a free upgrade to the Limited Edition. Now they're extending the same offer to all pre-purchases on Steam.

The Limited Edition features the "Argul's Tomb" DLC, which provides a new dungeon for players to explore. The Steam version will include the extra content, giving fans the same benefit as those pre-ordering retail copies of the game.

Darksiders II is scheduled for June 26.
