THQ Isn’t Sweating the Whole GTA V Thing

Saints Row: The Third is one of the most anticipated titles of the fall. Gamers are incredibly stoked about THQ's open world crime-themed insanity fest, and thanks to the company's recent marketing of the game, that comes as no surprise. Of course, a lot of people may be wondering what THQ's reaction to the recent Grand Theft Auto V announcement may be.

As it turns out, THQ isn't really worried about appeal diminishing for Saints Row: The Third. "I went online like everyone to see the GTA trailer," THQ CEO Brian Farrell told Eurogamer. "As you point out, it's a high quality trailer and I think it's going to be another fantastic game in the GTA series."

"That said, it also shows the completely different positioning of the two games," he continued. "GTA is still serious and character driven–a very different experience. Saints Row–if you saw our video today–it shows you all the crazy stuff in the game."

I'm super excited about Saints Row: The Third, and I can't wait to witness all the craziness that the game has to offer. GTA V, on the other hand, looks to be what we would expect from a new game in the series. That's not a bad thing by any means, but I certainly prefer the insane antics in THQ's upcoming title.
