There used to be a time when games were sparse for the Vita. Hell, there were periods of time where the Vita would stay in its carrying case for months because of lack of interesting games. Such isn't the case anymore. Even recently, fantastic games like Ragnarok Oddysey ACE, Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme and Y's Memories of Celceta have provided me with hours upon hours of entertainmernt on the go.
And it seems like Sony has no plans of slowing down. The PlayStation Blog just announced three more fantastic looking titles that will be making their way to the West.
First up is Soul Sacrifice Delta, the definitive version of Soul Sacrifice, boasting improved graphics and weather systems, new Archfiends based on classic fairy tales, new sorcerers and a completely new faction, Grim.
The best part, if you've already played Soul Sacrifice, but want to jump straight into the new content, you can carry over your safe file from the original game.
Next up is Freedom Wars, a gorgeous looking game in the "Monster Hunter" genre. Set in a dystopian world where everyone is born with a million year prison sentence. This sentence can be shortened by completing various missions.
Freedom Wars will feature four person local play and eight person online play, a robust character creation system and high octane, fast paced combat.
Lastly we have Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines, a JRPG where players take control of an ancient Japanese clan which has been cursed with a maximum lifespan of two years (quite literally the opposite of Freedom Wars' million year prison sentence) and of course your quest is to end this curse.
No official dates have been stated yet, but at this point, I'm just glad I'll actually be able to play these titles without needing to import or learn Japanese.
