Tiamat has arrived. The five-headed dragon queen has landed in Neverwinter on Xbox One to conclude the Tyranny of Dragons Campaign. Players will need to access the Temple of Tiamat in the Well of Dragons in order to banish her forever from the realms of Neverwinter. The largest dragon in the game to date, Tiamat has five heads (green, blue, red, white and black) each with their own attack levels and buffs. Attack groups of up to 20 players are recommended which is a 300% increase over the standard dragon battle of 6-8 recommended players.
Tiamat was initially scheduled to go live last week at the conclusion of the first part of the Well of Dragons. Complications with items located inside the temple delayed her arrival by one week, but she is here now. Players will gain Linu's favor, a new currency by completing the Temple as well as contributing to the dragon horard with Dragon coffers, hoard coins or statues. Every 1,500 points grants you one favor with the breakdown of points being hoard coin – 1 point, coffer – 15 points, statue – 200 points. Once you attain 15 Linu favor, you can cash them in at the vendor in the Well of Dragons for the newly released off hand artifact weapons that will form a set with your main hand item and grant you extra bonuses.
If the math sounds off, that means you have it correct as it will take you a while to get the favor using only items contributed to the hoard. Our best bet is to attempt and complete the Temple as many times as you can. If you've made it as far as the last two sections of the current Tyranny of Dragons campaign, you may also use astral diamonds in order to attain a dragon hoard treasure which can be cashed in for Linu Favor. There are many ways to earn favor, but only set strategies can defeat Tiamat herself. Our best advice is to have atleast two tanks (Guardian Fighters) that can aggro Tiamat while Trickster Rogue and Archer/Control Wizards attack from afar.
Anyone who needs an invite, let us know and send me a message on Xbox Live, GT SUPER BOCHMAN. Band together and defeat Tiamat once and for all. Neverwinter is avaialble now on Xbox One and it is free to play for all Gold members.
