All Walls Must Fall immediately leaps off your browser page when you get your first look at its Kickstarter. If you are a fan of tactical games of any kind, you are in luck because All Walls Must Fall doesn’t lean heavily on any one type and by doing so, makes a game that is authentically all its own. The game is set from an isometric perspective and lets its actions unfold in a hybrid turn-based and real-time sequence all to the beat of its music. Players also have the option of going back in time to undo a mistake, giving players layers of methods with which to make their decisions.
All Walls Must Fall takes place entirely within a single night in Berlin where players take control of time-hopping secret agents undergoing the same missions in different ways and contexts. This shows off the flexibility of how you can go about accomplishing your objectives which can be anything from shooting up every guard in sight to charming them into thinking you’ll hook up when they get off work.
The Kickstarter campaign is in its final days, and although the team has already surpassed their goal, they are trying to get that final push to reach another stretch goal called “Bad Language.” The stretch goal includes an additional mission type, a new NPC type, dialog clue mechanics, expletive censorship, additional dialog trees, and an art gallery. A Closed Alpha is expected to come not long after the conclusion of the Kickstarter in May of 2017, so keep an eye out for that.
