Microsoft has lowered the price of purchase for a 12-month Xbox LIVE Gold subscription from $60 to a much more affordable $40. Whether or not this savings of $20 will last longer than 24 hours, a week, or possibly forever remains unknown, so you probably want to hop on this deal while you can.
If you're a bulk buyer, you can only purchase three at a time.
If $20 off isn't enough, maybe the fact that Microsoft is planning a huge Games with Gold celebration for reaching the 100,000,000 games downloaded milestone will entice you to take the plunge into Xbox LIVE Gold territory. The company will be offering double the amount of games in April, four free games on Xbox 360, and two free games on Xbox One. What free games will be offered in April haven't been revealed yet. Unfortunately Microsoft doesn't always offer the best games in their Games with Gold program, but maybe the milestone celebration will force them to offer some of their best games.
This celebration is only open to Xbox LIVE Gold Members, so if you aren't already a member you might want to grab the membership at a discounted price.
You can grab a download code or physical card from the Microsoft Store here.
