TimeGate Reveals Sequel to Section 8

Publisher/developer TimeGate Studios revealed today their upcoming sequel to last year’s sci-fi shooter, Section 8. Titled Section 8: Prejudice, the game will expand on the original’s first-person gameplay and pick up where it left off Captain Alex Corde and the 8th Armored Infantry, and will launch in early 2011.

“As you can see, we are very committed to this universe. The development team has tremendous passion for the IP,” said Adel Chaveleh, CEO of TimeGate Studios. “Feedback from the community and media has been used to drive every single development decision on this project. Prejudice is taking everything popular about the first game of the series and pushing the envelope further. We’ve created a brand new and compelling story-driven single-player experience, expanded the world with new environments and massive amounts of new equipment. Prejudice is a full-blown sequel in every sense.”

The game is set to release in early 2011, although no platform details were announced that this time. For more information, visit www.warisprejudice.com.
