There's nothing quite like spending time downloading a 40GB game then having to wait for the 9GB day one patch to come through.
Luckily, Respawn won't be doing that to us with Titanfall 2. If you purchase a physical version of Titanfall 2, you will only be looking at an 88MB download to play the game. What the tiny patch brings, we don't exactly know, but hey, can't argue with something less than a gig.
Obviously, if you get the digital version of the game you're still in for a download.
It should be noted that this 88MB patch is worlds smaller than Halo 5's 9GB patch, Gears of War 4's 11GB patch, and even Battlefield 1's 2.4GB patch.
